The WESKIT008 Slip/Fixed Renewable (SF) Drill Guide Kit is engineered for high-speed airframe production, providing assembly lines with the ultimate modularity for rapid-change drilling operations. Centered around our WES5723-2-N Egg-Cup and WES5723-N Mini drill guides, this kit allows operators to transition between hole sizes instantly without the need for threading, making it ideal for multi-stage drilling and reaming.
By featuring two specialized housings—the standard Egg-Cup for maximum stability and the Mini-Guide for restricted clearance areas—production engineers can perfectly match the tool to the aircraft's geometry. Each housing includes a non-marring heavy duty plastic footpiece to ensure strict perpendicularity while completely eliminating surface scoring on delicate clad aluminum and composite panels. To complete the setup, the kit includes a massive 16-piece set of hardened SF drill bushings (1/2" OD x 3/4" Length), precision-ground to maintain ultra-tight tolerances during continuous high-cycle use.
Rapid Change Efficiency: The Slip/Fixed Renewable (SF) interface allows for instantaneous bushing swaps, significantly reducing cycle times in complex hole-preparation sequences.
