Wescon Long-Travel Taper-Lok Microstop Cages
Wescon heavy-duty, long-travel microstop cages are made for Taper-Lok drill-reamers. Built to handle continuous high-thrust loads and deep-hole drilling, these cages give the stroke length and rigid depth control required for interference fit fastener installation.
- Depth Control: Micrometer dial adjustment sleeve in .0005" increments.
- Locking Mechanism: Positive non-slip lock ring.
- Bearing Design: Heavy-duty enclosed ball bearings rated for 10,000 RPM.

Custom Taper-Lok Configurations & Application-Specific Skirts
Wescon builds custom Taper-Lok microstop cages for cutters and reamers a standard cage will not take, along with tight-clearance and custom jig versions.
For a modified skirt footprint to clear an adjacent stringer, or a specialized nose to fit a custom drill jig, our in-house machining division can build to your print or reverse-engineer a solution.
